Specific Health Guidance

Supporting your wellness efforts through practical advice tailored to your lifestyle

We at the Nihonbashi Muromachi Mitsui Tower Midtown Clinic provide health guidance to people over the age of 40, who are considered eligible based on their health checkup results. A public health nurse will devise health initiatives tailored to you and offer advice that can easily be put into practice in your day-to-day life. Please take advantage of this opportunity to review your lifestyle.

What is specific health guidance?

Specific health guidance is a follow-up service offered after a medical checkup to persons between the ages of 40 and 75 diagnosed with metabolic syndrome (*) or at risk of developing the disease. The service targets individuals whose risk for the onset of the disease is believed to be highly preventable by improving lifestyle choices. Depending on the level of risk, the specific health guidance will provide "motivational support" and "active support."

*What is metabolic syndrome?
A condition in which the accumulation of visceral fat leads to the onset of dyslipidemia, hyperglycemia, and hypertension. It often results from a lack of exercise or overeating. Improvements in lifestyle habits can reduce the risk of future severe illnesses.

The Benefits of Receiving Specific Insurance Guidance

Firstly, you can evaluate the state of your health. Those who are subject to specific health guidance are at a higher risk of disease. Based on the results of the medical checkup, specific health guidance can provide information and advice on improving lifestyle habits that are most applicable to your health status. Secondly, it is challenging to improve your lifestyle on your own, and without correct information and knowledge, your condition can sometimes even worsen. The benefit of this service is you can receive personal advice that is tailored to you. And most importantly, it helps prevent serious illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, and stroke, leading to a healthier lifestyle. Achieve your goal of lifelong health using this specific health guidance service.
